The Denza D9 is a luxury MPV stemming from the upscale arm of Chinese automaker BYD. Designed to rival high-end haulers, this large and imposing vehicle features a flat roofline, an upright silhouette, a massive sealed-off front grille, sleek LED headlamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels. It also comes equipped with powered and soft-closing sliding doors along with full-width rear lights featuring 3D-style LED elements. Brought to the country as a completely built unit (CBU), the D9 aims to offer an ultra-luxurious cabin experience.

Performance and Electric Powertrain

Built on the 800-volt e-Platform 3.0 architecture, the international-spec D9 electric MPV is offered in front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. The FWD variant utilizes a single electric motor pushing out 313hp and 360Nm of torque, while the dual-motor AWD version churns out 374hp and 470Nm. Underneath the cabin sits a 103.36kWh BYD Blade battery pack, enabling a WLTC-claimed driving range of up to 520km for the FWD model and 480km for the AWD model.

Inside, the spacious seven-seater cabin can be configured in an all-brown or all-beige color theme, embellished with Nappa leather upholstery, real wood inserts, and suede trim.
