Jeep India has confirmed that the entire allocation of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Whitecap Edition designated for the country has been fully claimed by buyers prior to its market release. Restricted to just 25 units locally out of a global production run of 250 units, the limited collector's edition commemorates 85 years of Jeep and is priced at Rs 73.55 lakh (ex-showroom), commanding a Rs 1.25 lakh premium over the standard Rubicon grade it builds upon.

Design Inspiration and Exterior Highlights

The Wrangler Whitecap Edition draws visual cues from the legendary CJ-Universal, notably featuring an Arctic White top that historically became synonymous with adventure. Exterior styling incorporates a bright white painted hardtop roof alongside a matching bright white seven-slot grille. The vehicle is painted exclusively in Mojito Green, complemented by specialized exterior graphics and Whitecap detailing.

Additional exterior appointments include body-colored fenders, a white-finished '4 Wheel Drive' decal at the tail section, and 1941 branding that honors the inception year of the original Willy MB Jeep. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels and features heavy-duty Dana axles, rock rails, and an off-road camera setup.

Interior Features and Powertrain Specifications

Inside the cabin, the special model carries over most standard components from the Rubicon trim while introducing two distinct additions: a built-in dashcam and reinforced grab handles. Standard equipment encompasses a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a 7-inch instrument cluster, 12-way powered front seats, a 9-speaker Alpine sound system, and a comprehensive ADAS suite.

Propulsion is handled by a 2.0-litre petrol engine generating 272 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. This motor is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
