Bajaj Auto has introduced the refreshed Bajaj Pulsar NS200 in the Indian market with an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs 1,60,374, closely following the market arrival of the Pulsar N250 SS. Reports differ slightly on the exact starting price, citing Rs 1.60 lakh and Rs 1,60,374. This latest iteration commands an Rs 11,000 premium over the preceding USD fork variant, which was priced at Rs 1.49 lakh, and places it slightly above its primary rival, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, which retails between Rs 1.48 lakh and Rs 1.49 lakh. The refresh brings significant electronic upgrades and mechanical tweaks while retaining the foundational perimeter frame, box-section swingarm, and rear monoshock.
Enhanced Electronics and Rider Aids
The updated streetfighter incorporates an Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) that enables ride-by-wire functionality, selectable ride modes, and traction control. Additionally, Bajaj has equipped the motorcycle with a bi-directional quickshifter, referred to as the Sports Shifter, which facilitates clutchless upshifts and downshifts. Safety and convenience have been further bolstered by the inclusion of a Panic Brake Alert system, adjustable brake and clutch levers, a hazard switch, and a USB Type-C charging port.

Replacing the older LCD unit is a new 5-inch TFT instrument cluster that features wireless Google Maps mirroring over WiFi and Bluetooth. Through a supported application, riders gain access to music controls, document storage, and a lap timer. Sarang Kanade, Chief Business Officer, Two-wheeler Business Unit, Bajaj Auto Ltd., stated that performance for the Pulsar line has always been rooted in power, and expressed the belief that it should also be defined by how confidently and intuitively a rider can use that power, noting that the NS200 evolves this definition to meet changing riding needs while staying true to its performance-led character.
Mechanical Updates and Performance Figures
Beneath the bodywork, the familiar 199.5cc single-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine continues to be mated to a 6-speed transmission. However, maximum output has increased by 1 hp (or 1 PS depending on the report) to reach 25.5 hp (or 25.5 PS / 25 bhp), while torque is rated at 18.7 Nm. Suspension duties see a notable revision as the previous 33 mm upside-down front forks are replaced by thicker 37 mm USD units. At the rear, the motorcycle now runs on a wider 130/70-R17 radial rear tyre.
The physical dimensions remain untouched, with the machine measuring 2,017 mm in length, 804 mm in width, and 1,075 mm in height, accompanied by a 1,363 mm wheelbase and a 168 mm ground clearance.
