Nissan India’s June wholesales rise 16%, domestic sales more than double

Mumbai: The Indian arm of Japanese car maker, , on Wednesday said its total wholesales grew 16 per cent year-on-year to 8,346 units in June.

reached 3,006 units in June, registering a 129 per cent year-on-year growth and marking the fourth consecutive month of domestic growth, Nissan Motor India said.

Exports during the previous month stood at 5,340 units, taking total wholesales for the month to 8,346 units, up 16 per cent year-on-year, it said.

“Recording four consecutive months of domestic sales growth is a strong reflection of the growing customer confidence in our product portfolio and the steady progress of our market strategy,” said Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd.
