Ola Electric Brings Roadster Bike Price Down To Rs 79,999 – Details Inside

Bengaluru‑based electric mobility company Ola Electric has announced a major price revision for its Roadster motorcycle range, bringing the starting price down to Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom). The announcement was made on March 3. The company has also introduced a special campaign called “Muhurat Mahotsav”, offering limited‑time deals and benefits for buyers.

For years, electric two‑wheelers in India were mostly scooters, while motorcycles remained dominated by petrol engines. Price was one of the biggest reasons as electric bikes were often seen as premium or experimental products.

The company says a limited number of units will be available at an even more attractive “Muhurat price”, which will only be revealed during a live booking window as this strategy aims to create excitement among buyers during the festive buying period.

Customers can also benefit from another important offer, which is an 8‑year extended warranty on the S1 Pro (3 kWh and 4 kWh) and S1 Pro+ (4 kWh) electric scooters, available only between today and tomorrow.

The company is also rewarding its existing users through a new community program called “Ola Insiders.” With more than 1 million customers across India, the company is building a dedicated ecosystem around its riders.

During the Muhurat Mahotsav window, members of the Ola Insiders community will receive additional benefits worth Rs 5,000 on top of existing offers and the program includes three main advantages-

1. Upgrade Benefits – Owners of older Gen 1 and Gen 2 Ola scooters can upgrade to the latest Gen 3 S1 scooters or Roadster motorcycles, receiving benefits of up to Rs 50,000.

2. Add‑On Offers – Existing customers purchasing another Ola vehicle under the same name can get benefits worth up to Rs 20,000, including cashback and software upgrades through MoveOS.

3. Referral Rewards – Customers who refer a new buyer can earn Rs 5,000 in Ola credits, while the referred customer receives Rs 1,000 cashback upon delivery.
