Ola Electric is growing at a fast pace increasing its space in the Indian EV market. The electric vehicle manufacturer has already earned its place as one of the best-selling electric two-wheeler manufacturers in the country. Now the brand is planning on expanding its horizons further with the launch of electric motorcycles. As part of the plan, the brand introduced the concept versions of its upcoming motorcycles.
To transform them from concept to production version the brand has filed multiple patents for the design of its upcoming motorcycle. These patents have a close resemblance to the M1 Cyber Racer Concept at the Ola Annual Customer Day held last year. However, these designs seem to have different interpretations of the electric two-wheeler. They have different qualities setting them apart in terms of design.
One of the designs has very thin tyres covering the alloy wheels. This design shows a hub-mounted motor that powers the rear wheels with a rather boxy-looking swingarm. Meanwhile, the other designs have a rather sporty appeal. However, the other elements are very similar to the first design.
Additionally, the seats of all three bikes have different designs. One of the designs has a long single-piece seat with seating space for two, while the other has a single seat, and the third one has a two-piece seat design with one higher than the other. The mechanics of the bike are also different. This can be seen in the form of the design of the radiator which is different in all of the three designs.
Besides the roadster, the brand also plans on launching a cruiser, an adventure bike, and another model that they are calling the Diamondhead. After electric bikes, the expansion of the manufacturer will move into the world of cars with the launch of a model that the brand has teased quite a few times in the past.
