OLA Roadster X Production Begins: Deliveries Expected This Month

Ola Electric announced the prices of the Roadster e-motorcycles in August last year. The series includes three models, Roadster, Roadster X, and Roadster Pro. The brand promised to start deliveries of the Roadster X in January this year, followed by the Roadster in March 2025 and the Roadster Pro in January 2026. The brand is on target as CEO Bhavish Agarwal recently shared an image of the first units of the Roadster X being built at the brand’s facilities.

Currently, customers can book the Roadster X for a token amount of Rs 999. The e-motorcycle has three battery pack options: 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh. These are priced at Rs 74,999, Rs 84,999, and Rs 99,999. It is unclear which version of the Roadster X has first gone into production.

OLA Roadster X Battery, Range, And Top Speed

The Roadster X’s 2.5 kWh version ago 117 km on one charge, achieves a top speed of 105 km/h, and takes 3.3 hours to charge from 0 to 80%. The version equipped with the 3.5 kWh battery pack has a range of 159 km, can do a top speed of 117 km/h, with a charging speed of 4.6 hours. With the 4.5 kWh pack, the Roadster X offers a range of 200 km, a top speed of 124 km/h, and a charging time of 5.9 hours.

It seems that OLA has only commenced production of the Roadster X lineup. Production for the Roadster and Roadster Pro models hasn’t started yet. OLA has promised to start delivering the Roadster bikes in March this year, while deliveries for the Roadster Pro models are promised for January 2026.
