Mahindra has revealed the 2026 Bold Edition for its long-serving Bolero SUV as a specially accessorised version curated through an exclusive dealer-level package. Promoted with the tagline “Bold Hai Boss”, the new edition introduces bronze detailing across the exterior and cabin, alongside a rear-view camera, while keeping the vehicle's mechanics unchanged. The regular Bolero range spans variants priced from Rs. 8.49 lakh or Rs. 8.57 lakh up to Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), though specific pricing for the Bold Edition accessory set has not been disclosed.

Exterior Highlights and Bronze Theme

The exterior updates are dominated by a bronze color treatment applied to multiple panels. The front section receives bronze-inspired accents on the vertical grille elements, lower bumper intake surround, and fog-lamp appliqués. Along the sides, the SUV features bronze outside rearview mirror caps, prominent door cladding with contrasting bronze inserts, and roof rails adorned with bronze details.

The Bold Edition also equips bronze-finished multi-spoke alloy wheels. These modifications deliver a more distinctive visual presence while preserving the tall, upright structure, rectangular headlamps, and squared-off profile that define the standard Bolero nameplate.

Interior Upgrades and Equipment

Inside the cabin, the theme extends through black leatherette seats featuring bronze accents, contrasting trim around the seat edges and headrests, and Bolero lettering embroidered on the front backrests. Edition-specific floor mats are also included as part of the package. Reports differ slightly on variant eligibility, but the package introduces a rear-view camera equipped with coloured guidelines to assist during low-speed parking and reversing.

Safety and convenience features from the standard lineup remain, including ABS, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, and front seatbelt reminders. Higher trims continue to offer power windows, central locking, remote locking, a rear wash/wipe function, a 17.8 cm touchscreen on selected trims, steering-mounted audio controls, and a USB Type-C charging port.

Market Impact and Availability

Mahindra previously introduced a Bold Edition for the Bolero last year. As an accessory pack that can be added on top of existing trims like the B4, B6, B6(O), and B8, the new iteration aims to sustain consumer interest.

The Bolero remains one of Mahindra's top-selling SUVs, having registered 9,344 units in sales last month. With the introduction of the Bold Edition ahead of the festive season, the manufacturer expects to see an increase in showroom footfalls and sales.
