Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition Spotted at a Dealership Ahead of Launch

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition has been spotted at a dealership yard. It appears to be a special edition Classic 350 that’s dedicated to the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army.

Details on the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition that set it apart from the rest of the Classic 350 range include a military green colour that’s finished in matte.

There’s a Gorkha Edition sticker on the side panels with the crossed Khukri sign, used by the Gorkha Rifles. The Khukri is also the official knife used by the Gorkha Regiment.

The engine casings and exhaust are finished in chrome and the bike rides on chrome wire-spoke rims.

Mechanically, the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition will be identical to the rest of the Classic 350 range. The J-series, single-cylinder engine is smooth and pairs beautifully with the relaxed nature of the bike. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 remains a good choice for those who like the feeling of cruising down the road at around 60-90kmph.

With the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition, however, there will also be an additional sense of pride to be associated with one of the finest armed forces in the world. There are no details about the launch yet, but expect it to happen soon.
