has today launched the highly anticipated Classic 650 in India. This new cruise bike from the homegrown automaker brings its desirable inline-twin-cylinder engine from the current 650cc lineup into the attractive aesthetics of the old-school Classic. Prices for the Classic 650 start from Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Classic 650’s feature list is extensive. It comes with a TFT dashboard featuring Royal Enfield’s Tripper navigation system, a removable pillion seat option, an LED headlight, aluminium switchgear, a USB charging port, and twin chrome peashooter exhausts.

Royal Enfield Classic 650: Engine Specifications

The Classic 650’s 647.95cc inline-twin-cylinder engine produces 46.39 hp and 52.3 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission. This cruiser bike uses a steel tubular frame, which rides on Showa USD forks at the front and Showa twin-shock absorbers at the back.

The Classic 650 is equipped with dual-channel ABS. At the front, there is a 19-inch spoked wheel, while at the back, you see an 18-inch spoked rim. Braking power comes from a 320 mm ventilated disc at the front and a 270 mm ventilated disc at the back.

The new Classic 650 will be available in four colour options in India: Black Chrome, Teal, Bruntingthorpe Blue, and Vallam Red.
