Skoda To Launch Its Flagship 7-Seater SUV In India Soon

Skoda will soon launch the in India. It will sit at the top of the brand’s lineup in the country. The previous generation of the was discontinued a while back. Since then, the Kushaq has been the flagship SUV for Skoda in India. The new-gen Kodiaq was on display at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. The brand has now dropped a teaser of the SUV, hinting that its launch is just around the corner. However, Skoda has not yet revealed the official date.

The new Kodiaq will feature a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine with a power output of 188 hp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The Kodiaq will come with a full-time all-wheel drive.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Dimensions

The Kodiaq is big. The measures 4.758 mm in length, 1,864 mm in width, and 1,659 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,971 mm. Compared to the previous model, the length has increased by 61 mm. However, the wheelbase stays the same.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Features

Being Skoda’s flagship SUV, the Kodiaq is equipped with a variety of features. The SUV comes with a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 10.25-inch digital display, and a 14-speaker audio system. You also get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Kodiaq will be equipped with ambient lighting, power-adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and USB Type-C ports.

Like before, Skoda is likely to offer the Kodiaq in two variants. These will be namely Sportline and Laurin & Klement. Prices are expected to start from Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).
