Suzuki e-Vitara Prices Announced In The UK, India Launch Soon

Suzuki has officially launched the e-Vitara in the UK. This new all-electric SUV is built on the same platform as the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser EV and marks Suzuki’s much-anticipated entry into the EV space. The model is expected to launch in India soon. Offered in five variants, the e-Vitara’s prices start at £29,999 (approximately Rs 34.90 lakh) for the base Motion variant, which comes with a 49 kWh battery and 2WD. The top-spec Ultra ALLGRIP-e variant with a larger 61 kWh battery and dual-motor 4WD setup is priced at £37,799 (approx. Rs 43.98 lakh).

Range figures stand at 346 km for the smaller pack and 428 km for the bigger one, according to WLTP testing. A major highlight is the new ALLGRIP-e four-wheel-drive system, which has been specifically designed for this EV. This makes the e-Vitara one of the few compact electric SUVs to offer a proper AWD option, giving it an edge in rough terrain or poor weather conditions.

Dimensionally, it measures 4,275 mm in length and sits on Suzuki’s dedicated HEARTECT-e EV platform. It’s slightly longer and wider than the current petrol-powered Vitara sold in international markets. Inside, the e-Vitara offers a modern cabin with a focus on everyday comfort, connected features, and practicality. Once launched in India, the e-Vitara will go head-to-head with the upcoming Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta EV, and Mahindra BE 6.
