Speaking of the Domestic Passenger Vehicle sales (including EVs), Tata Motors registered 47,628 units in July 2023 as opposed to 47,505 units in the corresponding period the previous year. Total PV sales for the month stood at 47,689 units. Tata Motors’ EV sales witnessed a growth of 53 percent last month with 6,329 units as against 4,151 units in July 2022.

The commercial vehicle segment of Tata Motors experienced a 4% YoY decline with 32,944 unit sales in July 2023 as against 34,154 units in the same period last year. Domestic commercial sales of the manufacturer were recorded at 31,216 units during the last month, a marginal decline from 31,473 units in July 2022.

Talking about Medium and Heavy Commerical Vehicles (MH&ICV), including trucks and buses, Tata Motors sells 13,291 units in July 2023 as against 12,012 units in the corresponding period last year. Domestic and international MH&ICV sales stood at 13,830 units last month from 12,974 units in July 2022.
In other news, Tata Motors announced that the Tiago EV has crossed 10,000 unit sales and the Nexon EV achieved over 50,000 unit sales. Along with this, the company is working to introduce the updated Nexon, Harrier and Safari in the Indian market.
