‘s India entry plans seem to be moving quickly. The American EV maker recently posted 13 jobs in the Mumbai suburban area for positions ranging from Business Operational Analyst to Service Advisor. A Reuters report now states that Tesla has picked sites for its showrooms in India.

According to the Reuters report, Tesla has finalised two sites to open its showrooms: New Delhi and Mumbai. For the New Delhi showroom, Tesla is looking to lease space in the Aerocity area. For Mumbai, a space in the Bandra Kurla Complex has been picked. The report states that both showrooms will be around 5,000 square feet in size.

Tesla will be selling imported EVs in India. India has recently reduced the import tariffs on luxury cars priced above $40,000 from 110% to 70%. Musk was a stern critic of India’s high import tariffs earlier and lobbied for a relaxation.
