The Mansory Cabrera Is A Mad Lamborghini Aventador SVJ With A Face Only A Mum Could Love

German tuners Mansory are known for their out there cars and when it turned 30 in 2020, it celebrated by building a trio of modified Aventador SVJs. Dubbed the Mansory Cabrera, one of these rare cars was recently snapped looking as odd as ever.

So what exactly do to make the absolutely wild Lamborghini Aventador into this odd duck that we see driving across the flash car capital of the world, Dubai?

Well, the Cabrera, which is named after one of the breeding lines of the “Toro de Lidia”, the Spanish fighting bull. Other breeding lines include recognisable Lamborghini names like the Miura and the Gallardo.

And while the name may have some pedigree, the Cabrera’s completely redesigned bodywork in carbon fibre is anything but, especially up front.

At the front, that angular madness that is Aventador SVJ has been replaced with a new front bumper with gaping intakes which when combined with the new LED headlights makes a face only a mother could love.

There are other changes as well to the bodywork with new bulging wheel arches and striking side skirts showing off a look we’ve come to expect from Mansory.

The wheelarches play host to a striking set of forged light-alloy wheels in 9X20 and 13×21 inch dimensions for the front and rear respectively. These wheels are clad in Pirelli P Zero tyres – 255/30ZR20 at the front and 355/25ZR21 at the rear.

The rear end of the Cabrera is thanfully a lot more palatable. The engine cover is a full carbon unit, while the double diffuser ensures that the Cabrera sticks to the tarmac as does the massive carbon fibre rear wing.

The cabin is festooned with black alcantara and there are strips of green leather that run across the headliner and seats. Mansory’s favourite forged carbon fibre can also be seen here as well.

Thankfully, there is one thing other than the palatable rear section that Mansory did get right. That is the engine under that aforemention carbon fibre cover.

Mansory has tuned the Aventador SVJ’s 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine so that it now produces 799bhp and 780Nm of torque. This is what Mansory claims is the reason for all the changes to the aero profile of Cabrera.

Anyway, the tuned mansory Cabrera sprints from 0-100km/h in a claimed 2.6 seconds and the limited run N.A. V12-powered supercar will keep screaming till it tops out at 355km/h.

Helping the V12 vent its fury at the world is a custom four-pipe exhaust system that sits just above the massive diffuser of this monster tuned in Bavaria.

Thoughts About The Mansory Cabrera

The Mansory Cabrera really does get you with its looks and not in a good way. Thankfully, for the three people who purchased one, the extra oomph and noise from the screaming V12 will ensure they outrun the haters.
