During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 4-day visit to the US, he met with Tesla, Inc CEO and Twitter owner Elon Musk in New York. This meeting was widely discussed in both national and international media as well.
Though the meeting covered a wide array of topics, the majority of the meeting is likely to have revolved around Tesla coming to India. After the meeting, Musk said that India is a great country for solar investment and the company is even planning to bring Starlink to the country.
This could only mean that Elon Musk is keen on bringing multiple investments into the country. Such a move would open plenty of job opportunities and also boost the economy of the country.
Eyeing this massive investment opportunity, Karnataka Industries Minister M B Patil has invited billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk to the state. Patil even went on to describe Karnataka as “the ideal destination” for an electric car manufacturer like Tesla.
“Karnataka is focused on being the Hub for Technology and #Manufacturing 5.0, to propel the state for the next 2 decades. If Tesla considers setting up a plant in India, Karnataka, with its great potential and capabilities, I must say is “The Destination.” Patil tweeted.
That being said, by inviting Elon Musk to Karnataka, Patil will be looking forward to bringing in massive investments. This move will hugely benefit Karnataka with job prospects and it will also boost the economy as well.
“As a progressive state & a thriving hub of innovation & technology, Karnataka stands ready to support and provide the necessary facilities for Tesla and other ventures of Elon Musk, including Starlink,” Patil added.
With this statement, Patil is also likely to convince Elon Musk to set up Starlink broadband internet service in Karnataka. This will further boost the already dominant IT sector of the state.
Karnataka will be a great choice for Elon Musk’s investment as the state is a dominant player in the IT Sector. This quality is likely to provide a solid foundation for a tech-dependent company like Tesla and Starlink. Also, states like Tamilnadu and Telangana are also great for investments.
