Tollywood Actress Dimple Hayathi Booked For Ramming Her BMW Into IPS Officer’s Car – Controversy

Tollywood actress Dimple Hayathi has been charged with a criminal case by the Hyderabad police for reportedly hitting the parked car of an IPS officer. It is alleged that the actress and her friend had previously rammed the same vehicle on multiple occasions.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (traffic) Rahul Hegde informed that an individual from the same apartment complex had hit his car parked at his residence. After checking the CCTV footage, it was identified that Dimple and her friend were responsible for the incident.

Following the incident, Rahul’s driver filed a complaint at Jubilee Hills police station, and a criminal case was registered against her. Dimple was summoned to the police station for questioning by the authorities.

According to Chetan Kumar, the driver of the IPS officer, the actress continuously kicked the officer’s car, and when enquired about the recent incident of her car ramming into the back of the officer’s SUV, the actress shouted at him.

Police have registered a case under Section 353 (assault or criminal force to deter a public servant from the discharge of duty), 341 (wrongful restraint), and 279 (rash driving) of the Indian Penal Code.

“In the past, too, they created trouble by blocking my car. Due to my job responsibilities, I generally have to act quickly in leaving the place by taking the car to attend my work. But they used to create hurdles to block the car,” said Rahul to the media.

An online video showed the actress leaving the Jubilee Hills police station with her friend David in her BMW 5 Series sedan. Meanwhile, taking to Twitter, Dimple alleged, “Using power doesn’t stop any mistake. Misuse of power doesn’t hide mistakes. #satyameva jayate”.
