Traffic restrictions to be in place for 9 hours

Patna: The district administration has issued a traffic plan for Sunday in view of the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 inauguration at Patliputra Sports Complex in Kankarbagh.
Traffic restrictions will be enforced near the venue from 12 noon to 9pm. Ambulances, fire services, vehicles carrying patients, pedestrians and NEET (UG) candidates are exempt.
Vehicle movement will be restricted on P C Colony Road, Raghunandan Marg, J P Senani Path, Gayatri Mandir Path, Ganga Devi Road and the northern stretch of Kankarbagh road – from Kankarbagh Tempo Stand to Malahi Pakri Mor. The southern lane of Kankarbagh road will remain open for two-way traffic.
A complete ban will be enforced on commercial vehicles between P C Colony Road (B 82) and Rajendra Nagar Golambar. All types of vehicles may use Malahi Pakri Road, Kankarbagh Colony Road and the southern end of Kankarbagh road without restriction.

Parking arrangements have been finalised for attendees. Vehicles arriving from the Parsa Bazar side will park on the Chanakya National Law University campus at Mithapur. Athletes, artists and small event-related vehicles will park at Medanta Hospital’s basement. Two-wheelers from Kanti Factory Road and Lohia Nagar will use the College of Commerce campus.
Vehicles from Anisabad Golambar will park at Aryabhatta Knowledge University, those from Patna GPO and Mithapur at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, attendees from Beur at Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University and those from Karbigahia at Chandragupt Institute of Management.
