Ultraviolette Tesseract Bookings Cross 20,000 In 48 Hours; Introductory Prices Extended

Within the first 48 hours of opening the bookings for the Tesseract electric scooter, Ultraviolette received over 20,000 bookings. Launched earlier this week, the Tesseract is Ultraviolette’s first e-scooter, marking the homegrown EV-maker’s entry into the electric two-wheeler segment. Seeing the positive response, the brand has announced that it will extend the introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh for the first 50,000 customers. Earlier, the threshold was set at 10,000.

The Tesseract is Ultraviolette’s first electric scooter. It is available with three battery pack options: 3.5 kWh, 5 kWh, and 6 kWh. IDC range estimates vary from 261 km for the 6 kWh pack to 162 km for the 3.5 kWh unit. The 6 kWh and 5 kWh units get a 15 kW electric motor, while the 3.5 kWh unit comes with a 10 kW motor.

Ultraviolette Tesseract: Features

Ultraviolette has equipped the Tesseract with a wide array of tech and features. It is the first commuter electric scooter to come with radar and an integrated dashcam. Segment’s first features include rider assistance tech such as blindspot detection and anti-collision warning. The Tesseract comes with a 7-inch TFT dashboard.
