Volvo ES90 Arrives With 700 KM Range; Takes The Fight To Tesla Model S, BMW i5, And Mercedes EQE Sedan

has unveiled its latest flagship model, the all-electric ES90 sedan, built on the SPA2 architecture and featuring the new Superset technology stack. This model offers impressive performance with 800-volt technology, allowing 300 km of range in 10 minutes at a 350 kW fast charging station. With a 106 kWh battery, it boasts a range of up to 700 km.

The ES90 retains Volvo’s signature design elements, including Thor Hammer headlights and C-shaped tail lights, while offering 424 litres of boot space (expandable to 733 litres) and a 22-litre frunk. It features a 14.5-inch touchscreen, a 9-inch digital instrument cluster, and a luxurious 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.

Safety Remains A Top Priority On The Volvo ES90

The ES90 ensures seamless connectivity with a new infotainment system featuring Google built-in and 5G capabilities. Safety is emphasized with an array of sensors, including radars, cameras, and lidar from Luminar Technologies. The ES90 is currently available for order in several European countries and could be available in other markets, including India.
