2026 Yamaha R25 Launched Abroad

• Gets two new colours: Icon Blue and Mint Green
• Remains mechanically unchanged

Yamaha has updated the R25 in Malaysia with new colours as part of the 2026 update. The bike is now available in two new shades: Icon Blue and Mint Green, with prices starting at RM23,098 (approximately Rs. 5.54 lakh). Here’s a closer look at the colours:

The Icon Blue is similar to the Racing Blue shade already seen on the Yamaha R15 in India. It is a flashy paint scheme that draws inspiration from Yamaha’s racing pedigree and is geared towards riders looking for something sporty.

The Mint Green is a bolder colour, with a full light green finish combined with black and red graphics. This paint finish is suited for those who value maximum visual presence.

Aside from the new colours, the bike remains mechanically unchanged. It is still powered by the same 249cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor producing 34.9bhp and 22.6Nm. The bike is unlikely to be launched in India and is likely to remain exclusive to the Southeast Asian market.

However, we hope Yamaha decides to update the R15’s colours and add the Mint Green to the palette.
