3, including minor, held for vehicle theft in Bokaro

Bokaro: Police have arrested three thieves, including a minor, on Friday and recovered 11 stolen motorcycles from various parts of Bokaro township under Sector 4 police station. Among those arrested, two individuals, including Pandu Munda, who has a criminal history, were found residing in the corridor of a public sector bank in City Centre for several months. This area is one of the busiest commercial zones in the town, housing numerous banks, jewellery shops, and showrooms.The arrests followed intelligence inputs received by SP Harvinder Singh regarding an active vehicle theft gang operating in the urban area. The SP said, “Acting on the tip-off, the sector 4 police detained a minor whose interrogation led to the capture of 45-year-old Pandu Munda and 18-year-old Shiva Kumar. The minor has been sent to a remand home, while the two adults are in judicial custody.”
