KTM 390 Adventure has been introduced in India with a new 350cc engine option, aimed at benefiting from the lower 18 per cent GST bracket. Along with the downsized powertrain, the motorcycle is available in two colour options – Electronic Orange and Ceramic White.

Both paint schemes are identical to the KTM 390 Adventure S, and irrespective of the shade you choose, you get a mix of orange and white finishes. The Electronic Orange shade gets an orange fairing complemented by white tail panels, front mudguard, and knuckle guards. Meanwhile, the Ceramic White option flips the scheme with a white fairing and mudguard, paired with an orange tail section.

Under the skin, the motorcycle is powered by a 349.32cc, single-cylinder engine. This unit is essentially a downsized version of the 399cc motor, featuring a shorter 56.1mm stroke compared to the latter’s 64mm. As a result, output figures stand at 41bhp at 8,600rpm and 33.5Nm at 7,000rpm. Not only are these numbers lower than the 399cc version, but the peak power also arrives higher in the rev range, which could translate to a relatively peaky power delivery.

Apart from the new engine, the bike remains identical to the KTM 390 Adventure X in terms of hardware and features. It is priced at Rs. 2.81 lakh (ex-showroom), making it around Rs. 62,000 more affordable than the Adventure X.
