About Mahindra XUV 7XO

Model Launch Date

The Mahindra XUV700 facelift may launch by the start of the next calendar year.

Feature List

The 2026 XUV700 is expected to get a revised front grille, new lights and bumpers, and most likely changed alloys. The rear end may get a full-length connected light bar.

Given that the existing XUV700 already fully loaded, the XUV700 facelift may carry forward the panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, EPB, and TPMS. This is likely to be enhanced by a tri-cluster setup, like what we saw with the XEV 9e. This infers that the facelifted XUV700 may get an infinity roof with ambient lights, sun blinds, auto park assist, and more. The six-seat version may get ventilated second-row seats.

Engine, Performance, and Specifications

As with the majority of facelifts, the 2026 XUV700 will most likely be a cosmetic update, likely carrying over the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel motors, paired with six-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission systems.

Additionally, it will likely debut with the brand’s proprietary mild-hybrid tech.

Variants

The 2026 XUV700 may get seven variants.

Safety

The existing XUV700 secured five stars in GNCAP crash tests. The same should be bolstered by the facelift carrying over safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, speed alert system, and a seat belt reminder system. It could additionally get what Mahindra calls as a Level 2+ ADAS suite, which is essentially Level 2 ADAS with added features.
