Reise Pit Stop Launched in India

Reise has launched a new dedicated tyre retail and service format for India’s two-wheeler market called Pit Stop. The first outlet has opened in Shivaji Nagar, Bangalore marking the beginning of a wider network that will expand into other key cities. A second Pit Stop location is already being developed in Bangalore.

The company is offering a more structured buying and servicing environment for tyres. Riders can buy Reise tyres and also get related services done at the same place. The store caters to scooters, commuter motorcycles and premium performance motorcycles with tyres spread across entry-level, premium and radial segments. Not built only around enthusiasts, Reise is aiming at the full two-wheeler market.

Services range from tyre changing to balancing to inflation. These stores are equipped with tyre changers, digital wheel balancers, nitrogen inflation machines, air compressors and pneumatic oil changers. So tyre fitment quality, balancing and proper handling makes that critical difference to how a motorcycle rides and wears its tyres.

Reise says all mechanics and store staff working at Pit Stops are professionally trained and certified by Reise and have to follow standardised service protocols across all locations. There is special focus on safe tyre fitment and careful handling of motorcycles, especially premium and performance bikes. Pit Stop will also be stocking in select branded and genuine premium spare parts for customers with premium vehicles.

Pit Stop will be expanding its network through a franchise-driven model wherein local partners will be owning and operating the stores while receiving support from the company for mechanic training, branding, social media promotion and partial machinery cost reimbursements. This is basically how Reise plans to scale without directly operating every single outlet itself.
