Positioned above the base HX2 variant, the HX4 variant justifies a premium of Rs 27,000 by offering features such as halogen projector headlamps and the LED DRL lightbar and the LED taillamps. It comes with a rear spoiler, body coloured door handles, a shark fin antenna and 15-inch alloy wheels finished in silver shade. Inside, the cabin gets a dual-tone theme but the seats get fabric upholstery like the base HX2 variant. The new D-Cut steering wheel is standard across all variants but gets audio and Bluetooth control in the HX4. The entry-level variant also gets an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen along with a digital cluster with a colour TFT for driver information.

All Variants Get The New D-Cut Steering Wheel

The biggest attractions in the entry-level Verna HX4 variant will be the inclusion of an electric sunroof, automatic start-stop and cruise control function that become accessible by only paying Rs 27,000 more, over the base HX2 variant’s Rs 10.89 lakh ex-showroom price.

What Makes Them Value For Money?

If you are looking for a low-maintenance, reliable and efficient sedan, then the Verna HX4 and HX6 variants fit the criteria mainly because they come with the naturally aspirated petrol engine, instead of the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is tuned for higher performance. The HX6 trim level opens the option of an IVT automatic, which is again known for its reliability among automatic options. Considering the 35 standard safety features and equipment, such as an electric sunroof and cruise control, are available from the HX4 variant itself, most prospective buyers are likely to find the right balance between the HX4 and HX6 variants of the facelifted Verna sedan.
