MG Motor Introduces 5-5-5 Ownership Programme for Majestor SUV Ahead of Launch

MG Motor India has announced a new ownership initiative for its upcoming flagship SUV, the MG Majestor, even before the vehicle officially reaches showrooms as India’s premium SUV segment is becoming increasingly competitive and manufacturers are trying new ways to attract buyers beyond just design and performance.

The company has introduced a “5-5-5 ownership programme”, which is a bundled package designed to make the ownership experience simpler and more reassuring for customers. The programme combines warranty coverage, roadside assistance and service benefits into a single offering.

What The Programme Includes

Under this new ownership plan, buyers of the MG Majestor will receive five years of unlimited kilometre warranty, which means the vehicle remains covered regardless of how many kilometres it travels during that period.

With this, the MG is offering five years of roadside assistance with no distance limit and this service can be extremely useful for drivers who frequently travel long distances or explore remote areas. If the vehicle breaks down or encounters a problem on the road, help will be available through MG’s support network.

The third part of the package includes five free services where labour charges are waived. Although customers may still need to pay for certain consumables such as engine oil or filters, the free labour component helps reduce overall service costs during the early years of ownership.

According to the company, the programme is intended to simplify ownership by combining multiple add-on services into a single, easy-to-understand package.

MG Majestor

The MG Majestor was first showcased in India earlier this year and is positioned in the D-segment SUV category, which competes with large premium SUVs that offer both luxury and off-road capability.

The Majestor is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine produces 212 bhp of power and 478.5 Nm of torque, which gives the SUV strong performance for highway driving and off-road adventures.

The SUV will be available with both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations, allowing buyers to choose depending on their driving needs. To strengthen its off-road ability, MG has equipped the Majestor with three locking differentials, which are – front, centre and rear. These help distribute power evenly to the wheels when driving on rough or slippery surfaces.

The vehicle also offers 219 mm ground clearance and an impressive water-wading capacity of up to 810 mm, which makes it capable of tackling challenging terrain.

Interior

Inside the cabin, the Majestor aims to deliver a premium experience. The SUV is expected to feature a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, wireless charging, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), among other modern technologies.

Bookings And Launch Timeline

Pre-reservations for the MG Majestor are already open with a booking amount of Rs 41,000. MG Motor India has confirmed that the first 3,000 customers who book the SUV will be eligible for the 5-5-5 ownership programme benefits. The company plans to begin showroom displays and test drives in April 2026, while customer deliveries are expected to start from May 2026.

With the Majestor, MG is not only introducing a new SUV but also trying to redefine the ownership experience. By offering extended warranty coverage, long-term roadside assistance and service benefits, the brand hopes to build greater confidence among buyers.
