Benda Dark Flag 600 V4 Cruiser Unveiled

  • Will feature a 598cc V4 engine
  • Will get an autoclutch system similar to the Honda E-Clutch
  • Gets air suspension at the rear

Benda, the Chinese bike maker, plans to launch the Dark Flag 600 V4 cruiser in the US. Approval documents have revealed details about the upcoming cruiser, and Benda could introduce it in two variants: a base variant and a higher spec one.

It’s powered by a 598cc liquid-cooled, V4 engine producing 71bhp and 54Nm, according to approval documents submitted in the USA. The engine will be paired with a six-speed gearbox, while the higher-spec variant is expected to get the autoclutch system as standard.

The Chinese manufacturer had introduced the autoclutch system on the Rock 707. It appears to be similar to the Honda E-Clutch, using electronic actuators to engage and disengage the clutch while also offering the option to use the clutch lever. The higher spec variant will also be offered with electronic air-suspension at the rear, something rare in the middle-weight segment.

Beyond the powertrain, the V4 cruiser will get a dual-TFT display setup, one mounted on the handlebar and the second positioned atop the fuel tank. The bike is expected to come with riding aids such as a cruise control system as well.
