Aprilia SR 175 Tribute Edition Launched at Rs 1.21 lakh

The Aprilia SR 175 Tribute Edition has been launched in India at Rs 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom). As the name suggests, this special edition scooter pays tribute to the Indian Armed Forces. It gets a unique colour scheme inspired by army fatigues.

Mechanically, the Aprilia SR 175 Tribute Edition remains the same as the rest of the SR 175 line-up. The scooter is powered by a 174.4cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 13.08bhp at 7,200rpm and 14.14Nm at 6,000rpm. This engine is paired with a CVT and is known to offer good performance, enabling the scooter to reach a top speed of 95kmph.

In terms of features, the Aprilia SR 175 Tribute Edition gets an LED headlight and tail light, a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and ABS, making emergency braking safer.

The scooter is built around a steel frame, while suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It rides on 14-inch wheels shod with tubeless tyres, which contribute to its high-speed stability and cornering ability.

Bookings for the Aprilia SR 175 Tribute Edition are now open, while deliveries will commence soon.
