MotoGP 2026: Ducati’s Marc Marquez Wins Czech Grand Prix

Ducati Lenovo Factory Team’s Marc Marquez put up a terrific performance to claim victory at the Czech Grand Prix. The reigning MotoGP world champion crossed the finish line just 0.421seconds ahead of Ogura, while Bagnaia completed the podium in third after leading much of the race.

At the Start

Pole-sitter Ogura on the Trackhouse Aprilia made a strong start and was leading the race initially. However, Bagnaia soon moved into the lead with Marquez slotting into second. Pecco was in his element in the first half of the race, as he kept Marquez at bay. The gap kept fluctuating as Marquez tried to pile on the pressure.

With six laps to go, Marquez made a brilliant move and took the lead of the race. Once in front, Marquez quickly opened a small gap to Bagnaia who in turn was coming under pressure from Ogura. Ogura then overtook Bagnaia to secure second place, continuing his impressive form at Brno after qualifying on pole and finishing runner-up in Saturday’s Sprint.

Pecco Salvages a Podium

Bagnaia had to settle for third despite controlling the early stages of the race, with Fabio Di Giannantonio on the VR46 Ducati finishing a close fourth.
