Norton Atlas India launch in late 2026

-Expected to arrive in the festive season

-Powered by a 585cc, parallel-twin enigne

The Norton Atlas is set to go on sale in India towards the end of this year. The company made the statement while announcing the beginning of production of the Atlas at TVS’ Hosur facility in Tamil Nadu. We expect the motorcycle to go on sale around the same time as the onset of the festive season in India.

Now that we have a definitive timeline for the launch of the resurgent Norton’s first ADV, prospective customers will be hoping that the bike is priced reasonably well. Making the bike in India should help the company price the bike competitively but lets not also forget the premium positioning of the Norton brand.

What one can be certain about, however, is that Norton Atlas and the Atlas GT will be the most well-equipped motorcycle in its class. Its features list is a lot longer than bikes like the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Honda NX500. You’ve got an 8-inch touchscreen TFT display, navigation, four ride modes, traction control and keyless ignition with electric release for the fuel filler cap and steering lock.

Powering the bike is a 585cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 69bhp at 9,300rpm and 57.5Nm at 7,300rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that’s got a bi-directional quickshifter.

We will be riding the new Norton Atlas and Atlas GT soon. Stay tuned for the review.
