Honda Rebel 500 Price Leaked Ahead of Launch

The upcoming Honda Rebel 500’s price has been leaked online, and the cruiser is expected to carry a price tag of Rs. 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The price was revealed on the Honda BigWing Bengaluru website and is likely to be the launch price when the bike comes to India later this year. Honda has not revealed the launch date as of now.

The Honda Rebel 500 is likely going to be offered in two variants: the standard and the E-Clutch. The standard is likely to be priced at Rs. 5.49 lakh ex-showroom, whereas the E-Clutch variant could be priced at a premium.

The brand had recently unveiled the Rebel 500 and has revealed that it will be part of Honda’s new expanded lineup. The bike will be coming to India via CKD (Completely Knocked Down), which should help keep prices competitive.

If the price revealed on the Bengaluru BigWing dealer is correct, then the upcoming Rebel 500 should be more affordable than the previous generation model that was sold in India. For reference, the previous-generation Rebel 500 had a last known ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs. 6.26 lakh.

The Rebel 500 will feature a 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that develops 46hp at 8,500rpm and 43.3Nm at 6,000rpm. Once launched, it will go up against the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 in India.
