2027 Ducati Panigale V4 SP Confirmed

  • To sit between the Panigale V4 standard and R versions
  • Confirmed through California Air Resources Board (CARB) certification
  • SBK dry clutch and carbon-fibre wheels expected

Ducati is preparing a new Panigale V4 SP for the 2027 model year. The track-focused version is expected to sit between the standard Panigale V4 and the race-focused Panigale V4 R.

The confirmation comes from the California Air Resources Board (CARB), which has certified the Panigale V4 SP for 2027. Ducati had earlier certified the 1,103cc Panigale V4 range, with the SP added through a later update.

The new SP is expected to use the same 1,103cc engine as the standard Panigale V4. However, it should get several upgrades aimed at improving its performance on a racetrack.

The previous Panigale V4 SP and SP2 featured an STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, carbon-fibre wheels, adjustable billet-aluminium footpegs, upgraded Brembo brakes and a lightweight 520 chain. They also came with Ducati Data Analyzer+ as standard. The new SP is expected to get similar equipment.

Ducati is likely to reveal more details about the 2027 Panigale V4 SP, including its price and specifications, as part of its upcoming World Première series later this year.
