Kappa has a Set of Universal Accessories for Everyday Use

  • KPM1 fits 22mm to 32mm handlebars and phones up to 90mm wide
  • KBH50 fits bottles between 32mm and 77mm in diameter

Kappa KBH50 bottle holder and KPM1 smartphone holder are the kind of accessories that come in handy every day, whether you are commuting or leisure riding. Short or long journey, you need a secure place for the phone and somewhere convenient to keep drinking water. Kappa products are already available through aftermarket retailers in India.

Of the two, the KPM1 will probably find the wider audience. Smartphones have effectively become navigation devices for many riders, particularly in India, where Google Maps is often used even during regular city journeys. The KPM1 attaches directly to an exposed handlebar section measuring between 22mm and 32mm in diameter and accommodates phones between 65mm and 90mm wide.

The holder is made from reinforced nylon with TPU inserts and weighs only 124g. The TPU sections are designed to absorb vibration and impacts over rough surfaces. There is a quick-release mechanism allowing the phone to be attached or removed with a single movement. Its open construction also avoids covering the phone’s rear camera.

KBH50 is the more interesting one for riders. It is a universal bottle holder made from reinforced nylon, steel and silicone, with an automatic retaining mechanism capable of holding bottles or flasks between 32mm and 77mm in diameter. It uses self-adjusting retention and a steel gear locking mechanism. The bottle can be secured or released quickly, while a silicone lining helps prevent it from moving around when the motorcycle is travelling over uneven surfaces. The holder can also be rotated for horizontal or vertical installation.
