About Mahindra Thar

Features:
The 2020 Thar features wider and longer dimensions as compared to its predecessor. On the outside, it features a vertical slat front grille, circular headlamps, 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, and dual-tone bumpers. Moreover, the Thar can be had with both soft as well as a hard top roof.
Inside, the 2020 Thar feels much more spacious, practical, and passenger-friendly as compared to the previous version. It comes equipped with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, roof-mounted speakers, cruise control, steering-mounted controls, a built-in roll cage, and height adjustment for the front and rear seats to occupy passengers with a front view. However, on the downside, it can seat no more than four passengers, has a small boot, and the petrol engine is not as efficient as one would expect it to be.
Engine and specifications:
The all-new Thar gets a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 150bhp and 320Nm of torque and a 2.2-litre diesel engine making 130bhp and 300Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic unit.
