Tata Nexon and Nexon EV facelift are scheduled to be launched on September 14, 2023. The facelifted Nexon will get a number of changes, including a new grille, new headlights, new taillights, and a new bumper. The interior will also be updated with a new dashboard, new seats, and a new infotainment system.
Tata Nexon Facelift Powertrain and Variants
The Nexon EV facelift is also expected to get some changes, including a new battery pack that will give it a longer range. The current Nexon EV has a range of 312 kilometers on a single charge. The facelifted model is expected to have a range of over 400 kilometers.
Both the Nexon and Nexon EV facelifts will be powered by the same engines as the current models. The Nexon will be powered by a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, while the Nexon EV will be powered by an electric motor.
Tata Nexon Facelift Price
The facelifted Nexon is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 9-12 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the Nexon EV facelift is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 15-18 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Tata Nexon Facelift Exterior and Interior
The upcoming Nexon facelift showcases a significant exterior transformation, drawing inspiration from the Curvv and Harrier EV concepts. This marks the second major revamp for the Nexon, featuring a fresh split-headlamp arrangement, a sweeping LED tail-light spanning the width, revamped alloy wheel design, and a departure from the earlier Y-shaped motifs.
Inside, the facelifted Nexon reveals a redesigned dashboard with sleeker AC vents, a touch-controlled HVAC panel, an enlarged 10.25-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, and a new two-spoke steering wheel. Notably, Tata Motors has retained the rotary drive mode selector and the manual handbrake.
While the design specifics of the Nexon EV remain undisclosed, it’s likely to resemble the internal combustion engine (ICE) model.
