Bajaj Auto Witnesses 16% Drop In Domestic Two-Wheeler Sales, Exports Rise 18% In June 2025

In June 2025, Bajaj Auto Limited sold 149,317 two-wheelers in the domestic market, marking a year-on-year decrease of 16% compared to June 2024, when the company sold 177,207 units. In contrast, two-wheeler exports showed a year-on-year increase of 18% last month, with 149,167 units shipped overseas, up from 126,439 units in the same month last year. Combined sales for Bajaj Auto, including both domestic and export figures, experienced a 2% year-on-year decline in June 2025, totalling 298,484 units compared to 303,646 units in June 2024.

Domestic commercial vehicle sales remained relatively flat in June 2025, with 39,143 units sold, compared to 39,244 units in June 2024. However, commercial vehicle exports saw a significant year-on-year increase of 49% last month, with 23,179 units sold internationally, compared to 15,587 units during the same month last year. Total commercial vehicle sales for the homegrown automaker reached 62,322 units in June 2025, reflecting a 14% increase over the same month last year when sales were at 54,831 units.

Year-to-date domestic two-wheeler sales for Bajaj Auto stood at 529,344 units, representing a 9% decrease compared to the same period last year, which recorded 582,497 units. Conversely, year-to-date two-wheeler exports saw an increase of 14%, totalling 419,447 units till June 2025, up from 368,420 units in the same period last year.
