Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Gets a Price Cut of Rs. 14,000

Bajaj Auto recently launched the 350cc Pulsar NS400Z in India, priced at Rs. 1.94 lakh (ex-showroom). While the engine was downsized to bring it under the 18 per cent GST bracket, the price remained unchanged. Now, the company has reduced the price of the NS400Z by Rs. 14,000, making it the most affordable bike in the segment.

Additionally, Bajaj claims that customers can expect total savings of up to Rs. 24,500 on the on-road price, courtesy of lower insurance premiums and registration costs for bikes under 350cc.

Powering the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is a 349cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40bhp at 9,000rpm and 33.2Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox and benefits from an assist and slipper clutch. The motorcycle offers a power-to-weight ratio of 244bhp per ton.

On the feature front, the Pulsar NS400Z comes equipped with full LED lighting, four ride modes, a quick-shifter, traction control, and dual-channel ABS. It also offers Bluetooth connectivity, enabling features such as turn-by-turn navigation and call and SMS alerts.
