BMW M 1000 RR Isle of Man TT Limited Edition: Image Gallery

BMW Motorrad has taken the wraps off a special version of its flagship superbike, called the BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT. Here is a look at the bike in images.

Built to celebrate the 115th running of the iconic Isle of Man TT, this special edition M 1000 RR will be produced in a limited run of just 115 units worldwide. The special edition is based on the standard BMW M 1000 RR with the M Competition package and gets a distinctive British Racing Green Uni Matt paint scheme.

It also features graphics inspired by the famous TT Mountain Course, with key sections of the circuit etched across the bodywork. BMW has also equipped the bike with several exclusive cosmetic enhancements. These include a satin chrome-finished aluminium fuel tank, a black Alcantara seat, a carbon airbox cover with TT branding, and a black swingarm.

The rear frame also gets special TT lettering to further distinguish it from the standard model. Adding to its exclusivity, every unit will feature an individually numbered top yoke and come with a certificate of authenticity. BMW will also bundle an M motorcycle mat and rear paddock stand with each bike.

Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged. It continues to use the 999cc inline-four engine.
