Lamborghini Huracan STO

Summary

The Huracan is one of the most striking sports cars in the Lamborghini lineup. The brand presently offers the Huracan Evo AWD and RWD as well as the Evo Spyder AWD and RWD in India. Now, Lamborghini is going to launch another variant of it – the Huracan STO on 15 July 2021.

Exterior

The Huracan STO (Super Trofeo Omologata) is a road-car derived from the Super Trofeo Evo and the Huracan GT3. This high-performance sports car is not just another Huracan variant in the lineup. In fact, Lamborghini has made the STO lighter and also improved its aerodynamic efficiency. It also features a redesigned bonnet, front and rear bumpers, fenders. There is an adjustable rear-wing and carbon-ceramic brakes as well. Moreover, the Huracan STO gets distinctive exterior paint options.

Interior

Inside, although the STO’s cabin resembles other Huracan models, it gets a proper race-car cockpit. There are exposed carbon fibre parts inside, especially the sports bucket seats with four-point seat belts. Besides, the cabin is upholstered in Alcantara and is equipped with a titanium roll cage. Additionally, there is an infotainment touchscreen system and an all-digital instrument cluster. It also has three new driving modes – STO, Trophy and Rain.

Engine and Transmission

Being a Lamborghini, it is equipped with a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 petrol motor that channels all the power to the rear axle via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. It generates 640bhp and 565Nm of torque. The STO can go from stationary to 100kmph in just three seconds and has a top speed of 310kmph.
