  • Ride-by-wire and cruise control
  • Engine output at 38bhp and 40Nm

Zontes has updated the ZT368-G ETC for 2026 with set of additions that should make it easier to live with on a daily basis. The biggest technical change is the introduction of ride-by-wire which will offer more measured throttle response on city streets. The other addition is cruise control to strengthen the touring side of this scoot. While not for our market yet, the steady growth of the segment can make this an ideal choice for Indian cities, albeit with a few adjustments to bring it below 349cc because of our weird tax policies.

The company has also reworked the handlebar switchgear with both left and right controls receiving a new layout. Switchgear is something a rider interacts with constantly so a more intuitive layout can make the whole scooter feel better resolved. For the far off adventure enthusiasts who might need it, 2026 ZT368-G ETC also offers heated grips and a heated seat controlled directly from the instrument panel. The 2026 model will be offered in Green, Grey, Black and Sand colour.

Power comes from a 368cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 38bhp at 7,500rpm and 40Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. With a claimed fuel efficiency figure at 28.5kmpl. it is fairly good for a scooter with adventure creds. The scooter uses a 41mm MZKS upside-down fork with adjustable rebound and compression damping for fine tuning. Seat height at 795mm may be a bit tall for some, and kerb weight at 197kg too looks a bit heavy. But then since this is built for adventure touring purposes, these numbers target a balance between touring and everyday manageability.
