Ducati Memorabilia: A Ducatisti’s Dream Come True

Ducati Memorabilia is an ongoing project launched by Ducati and Ducati Corse in December 2019. This project allows the biggest Ducati fanatics, also known as the Ducatistis, an opportunity to get their hands on original, licensed parts of recent MotoGP and WSBK (World Superbike) motorcycles.

This year, the Ducati Memorabilia gets the mechanical components from the Ducati Desmosedici GP16, their MotoGP weapon. These parts include the GP16 exhaust camshaft, the GP16 intake camshaft, the authentic connecting rod, and the Desmosedici GP16 piston. All these components have had a huge role in the bike’s success in both Championships – an actual piece of motorsporting history!

These timeless components of the Ducati Memorabilia Project are kept in packages that showcase their pure class and value. Kept floating in a minimalistic, transparent box with a black base, these parts come with a certificate of originality and a description, with a reference to the rider at that time and the last race it was used. To further prove the authenticity, the certificate comes signed by Ducati’s CEO, Claudio Domenicali, and the General Manager of Ducati Corse, Luigi Dall’Igna.

These pieces of history can be bought in Bologna, at the Ducati store, the entire Ducati dealer network, and on Ducati’s online shop. These pieces will be protected as much as they possibly can with a plexiglass case. Only limited stock is available – for obvious reasons.

The most affordable memorabilia available on Ducati’s website is worth Rs. 16,088 (180 Euro) and is for a keychain with the rocker arm that was used in the 2018 WSBK Bike, the Ducati 1199 F18. On the other hand, the most expensive pieces are the original GP16 Exhaust and Intake Camshafts and these parts go for Rs. 89,382 (1000 Euro)!

The Ducati Memorabilia Project is satisfying the Ducatisti’s needs to another level! Providing the supporters with original race-bred pieces is an opportunity for the ages. Also, with the certificate of originality given the stamp of approval by the CEO of the Italian Company and the General Manager of their racing front, Ducati Corse, these pieces will always hold high value, no matter where they go.
