Next-gen Bajaj Pulsar Launching on 12 August

Bajaj Auto seems to be ready to launch the next-generation Pulsar in India soon. The company has sent out a launch invite for 12 August, clearly mentioning that the new product is going to be the Pulsar. It will most probably be the new Pulsar 150 since Bajaj is celebrating Pulsar’s 25th anniversary this year and the 150cc model is the most important model of the family; it was the first-ever model of the Pulsar lineage and continues to see a strong demand even today.

Our sources suggest that the upcoming Pulsar 150 will be an all-new product, instead of a comprehensive facelift. It could feature a new chassis, an updated engine, a revised suspension setup, and a host of modern features. These changes suggest that Bajaj could be laying the foundation for the next phase of the Pulsar brand.

The Pulsar 150 remains the only model without any major upgrade, making it the most logical candidate for a complete generational overhaul. Bajaj has progressively modernised much of the Pulsar range over the last few years with the N-series and NS models. We believe the upcoming next-generation Pulsar 150 will mark the beginning of the next chapter for one of India’s most iconic motorcycle nameplates.
