Ducati Unveils 10 New Limited Edition Models

  • Ducati is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year
  • Collezione 100 models of 10 different Ducatis unveiled
  • Each one pays homage to one of the historic Ducatis

Ducati is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and the Italian marquee is celebrating it in style. After the company introduced the ultra-exclusive Superleggera V4 Centenario a while ago, the company has now taken the wraps off special edition Collezione 100 models of 10 different motorcycles from its portfolio.

Every special edition model celebrates a specific bike from the brand’s rich history, and each one of them will be limited to 100 units worldwide. We are certain Ducati will allot some of these masterpieces for the Indian market as well. Prices for any of the bikes aren’t out yet, but looking at the exclusivity they bring to the table, each of them will most likely be significantly more expensive than their standard counterparts.

Whether they look good or vanilla is a subjective matter, but every single one of the 10 special editions looks distinct and fresh, for what we have seen from Ducati so far. The XDiavel V4, for instance, looks like a showpiece with its blue and silver bodywork along with golden wheel rims. The Multistrada V4 RS, meanwhile, is inspired by the 1979 500 SL Pantah and adorns a very unfamiliar livery. But the most stonking of them is the 750 Imola Desmo-inspired Panigale V4 S, which comes dipped in glittery and grainy silver shade, which seems unlike anything we have seen on a motorcycle. What looks slightly out of place, in my books, is the DesertX 100, which, with its yellow and blue colour combination, exudes a bit of Suzuki V-Strom 800 vibes.

Now, it remains to be seen how many of the Collezione 100 models Ducati India will bring to our shores. What we are certain of is that all of them will be sold out as soon as they are allocated to India.
