Gurgaon: The CM’s flying squad with RTA officials, busted a gang that offered forged receipts of road tax, toll tax, parking charges, and several other taxes. The accused were operating from a rented house in Sector 41, constructed for the economically weaker section. They used to edit tax receipts and issue fake receipts to commercial vehicles drivers.The racket was active for the past one year.
One of the accused, Ravi Kumar was arrested in UP. Police found Ravi, with the owner of the centre Santosh Yadav, issued illegal receipts for commercial tax operated in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, and UP. “Stamps of different state authorities were recovered from their posession,” said inspector Harish from CM’s flying squad.
