The new Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 has been launched in India at Rs. 86,500 (ex-showroom). It gets cosmetic updates, new features, and Hero claims that it offers improved fuel efficiency.

The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 continues to be powered by the same 124.7cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 10.7bhp and 10.6Nm. Hero claims a fuel efficiency figure of 72kmpl, aided by the idle start-stop system.

The motorcycle also gets an Integrated Starter Generator for quieter engine starts and smoother restarts in traffic.

On the features front, Hero has equipped the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 with a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. It offers call and SMS alerts, caller ID, phone battery status, real-time mileage indication, and a low fuel indicator. There is also a USB Type-C charging port for added convenience.

In terms of safety, the motorcycle now gets hazard lights, a front disc brake, and a handlebar-mounted engine kill switch.

Visually, Hero has also revised the styling with new dual-tone graphics, fresh colour options, XTEC 2.0 badging, rim tapes, and a stitched dual-texture seat.

The new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 is available in five colours – Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue, and Matt Chestnut Brown
