Hyundai has completed 25 years of exports from India. The carmaker began exporting India-made vehicles in 1999. Since then, it has exported over 3.7 million overseas to over 150 countries. At the moment, the brand exports to over 60 countries from India.

Hyundai exports cars from India, including the i10 and Verna lineup. Over 1.5 million i10s and 500,000 Vernas have been exported by Hyundai from India. In the calendar year 2024, total exports for Hyundai stood at 1,58,686 units. These vehicles were exported to countries such as Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mexico, Chile, and Peru.

Hyundai recently reached the milestone of exporting 1 million vehicles to Africa and announced that it has commenced exporting the Exter compact SUV to the nation. The Exter is exclusively manufactured in India. Hyundai cars that are popular overseas include the Creta, Alcazar, Verna, Exter, and i10.
