IGNYTE Carbon Fibre Helmets Launched from Rs. 14,999

IGNYTE has launched its new Carbon Fibre Series with prices starting from Rs. 14,999. The range consists of three helmets, IGN-10 and IGN-14 priced at Rs. 14,999, and the flagship IGN-16 at Rs. 19,999. These prices include the helmet’s standard equipment and a three-year warranty. All these helmets have received ISI and DOT approvals for safety.

The helmets use an exposed carbon-fibre composite outer shell to utilise its high strength abilities while keeping weight low. Under that carbon-fibre shell sits an Expanded Polypropylene liner EPP along with Kevlar reinforcement. This combination is designed to improve energy absorption, durability and performance during more than one lower-severity impact.

EPP behaves differently from the EPS material commonly used in helmets. It has a degree of elastic memory allowing it to recover its shape after certain lower-energy impacts. The benefit is that EPP can offer better resistance to small knocks and compression during normal handling and use.

IGNYTE has also introduced exposed carbon-fibre textures in several colours and finishes. The IGN-14 and IGN-16 include an additional smoke visor, while the IGN-16 also gets customised fitting head foam.
