Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Available with Free Ohlins Steering Damper Worth Rs. 83,000

Kawasaki India has announced a new offer on the Ninja ZX-6R. The brand is now giving an Ohlins steering damper worth Rs. 83,000 for free when purchasing a Ninja ZX-6R. The offer is valid till 31 May 2026, and the bike’s price of Rs. 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom) remains unchanged.

The free steering damper will help in preventing tank slappers and keep the motorcycle in control. It will be quite useful for riders planning to take the ZX-6R to the track, as it improves high-speed stability.

Aside from the free steering damper, the ZX-6R remains mechanically unchanged. It is still powered by the same 636cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine producing 124bhp and 69Nm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox, with a slip-and-assist clutch as standard.

The motorcycle is built around a pressed aluminium perimeter frame and rides on a fully adjustable Showa inverted fork and monoshock setup. Braking duties are taken care of by a dual-disc setup at the front and a single-disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS for added safety.

The Ninja ZX-6R gets a traction control system, multiple riding modes, and a quickshifter as standard. The 4.3-inch TFT console also offers smartphone connectivity.
