Kawasaki is offering a free Ohlins steering damper worth Rs. 83,000 on the purchase of a Ninja ZX-6R. This offer is for MY26 bikes and is valid till 30 June 2026. It is important to note that the motorcycle’s ex-showroom price of Rs. 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom) remains unchanged.

The free steering damper will be quite helpful for riders who plan on doing track days. It will help reduce the likelihood of tank slappers at high speeds and keep the motorcycle under control. Although it is usually fitted by riders planning on doing track days, it is still a useful addition for road riders.

Apart from the free accessory, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 636cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine producing 124bhp and 69Nm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox, with a slip-and-assist clutch as standard.

The bike is built on a perimeter frame and is suspended on a fully adjustable Showa inverted fork and monoshock. The braking setup consists of a dual-disc front setup and a single-disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS as standard.

Electronic riding aids available on the Ninja ZX-6R include a traction control system, multiple riding modes and a bi-directional quickshifter.
